I think it's possible that everything we've seen so far in DBS (from BoG to DB Hero) is not a continuation of DB Daima, since DB Daima came out later.

However, anything that comes out after DBS Hero could take DB Daima's story into account.

Maybe we can see Vegeta SSJ3, Goku SSJ4, the Demon World in the continuation of DBS.

It's like what happened with Arc Garlic Jr., DBZ is not a continuation of Movie 1, but Arc Garlic Jr. is a continuation of Arc Frieza and within its story, it is also a continuation of Movie 1.

It's a theory that occurred to me.

I think DBS has Goku tell Beerus he can't go any higher than SSJ3 in their first fight, so Daima having Goku keep SSJ4 seems to very clearly show a contradiction and probably a different timeline.

Yeah it's definitely a different timeline. Something caused Kibitoshin to unfuse earlier than in Super and for Goku and Vegeta to not attain SSJ4 and SSJ3 in the Super timeline for whatever reason. I hope Toei eventually explains it as some type of time travel shenanigans that were involved.

I think Goku saying SSJ3 is his final transformation was manga-only in Super but I'm not going to rewatch Episode 5 to confirm whether it was in the anime too lol.

Personally I don't mind if Toei just keeps Daima and Super disconnected, it would cause too much confusion fir them to be in the same universe. Plus Daima will likely get a season two which will make it impossible to connect if both it and Super are going on at the same time.
