The Super Saiyan bit was odd because he didn't even realize he could no longer become Ultimate by this point.

Honestly, Tagoma saying Gohan was the most dangerous opponent tells me Gohan is superior to Piccolo. Gohan telling Piccolo and the others to stay back while he takes on Shisami also paints him as the superior one. Z-Sword Gohan is just one of those overrated characters, in my opinion.
