Kamehameha being yellow is a quirk of the full color coloring staff. Toriyama actually gave it a white color:

Toriyama also said he refuses to look at his past work and when he thinks of dragon ball he always imagined it in black and white first.

I'd rather get a blu ray remaster of the original film prints for DB, Z, GT, etc. it might literally be cheaper to remake dragon ball but I don't care. Put pressure on Toei for a proper remaster with broadcast audio.
