Did Boo recognize Vegeta here?

</div>Did Boo recognize Vegeta here? I'm aware that he has Gohan, Trunks, Goten, and Piccolo's knowledge, but that didn't stop him from having no clue who Dende was.

Also, assuming he didn't know it was Vegeta, would that stop him from thinking the fusion he was expecting to go Super Saiyan 3?

Personally, I find it unlikely he didn't have any clue it was Vegeta because obviously he'd know that no random human has a battle power that rivals Goku's, but I still thought it was worth discussing. It'd also help if anyone had any evidence saying he knew it was Vegeta.

He has no way to recognize Vegeta. The last time Vegeta was alive, Buu was unable to sense ki.

He demonstrated that he has some of Gohan/Goten/Trunks/Piccolo's knowledge/memories, so I wouldn't say there's "no way". He's also aware that no average human rivals Base Goku, so I wouldn't say it's too much of a stretch to say Boo put two and two together with whatever information he has.

And say he did think it was a regular human, does that stop him from expecting Super Saiyan 3? Gotenks was half-Saiyan / half-Earthling and could go Super Saiyan 3.

I thought you were in the Gohan-Boo > SS3 Gogeta camp? Do you think that requires Boo knowing Goku was going to fuse with Vegeta? Or do you think it could work if it's just another human.

It's possible that Vegeta was so far below him that Boo didn't really care. Adding to that, if he had Trunks, Goten and Piccolo's memories, he should at least suspect a lack of SSJ3.

Doesn't seem like he knew it was Vegeta. Why refer to him in such a vague way? He couldn't sense power last time he saw Vegeta so it makes sense.

Frankly I didn't consider his mindset on the fusion, so true enough there. More specifically I mean to say, it's not like Boo sensed a rival power. He saw a big power, but someone still below Goku and someone that he could easily squash.

If he didn't even recognize Dende in plain sight, there's no reason he would recognize Vegeta's ki signature. (Especially when he lacked the ability before becoming evil)

As calm as Buu is acting, he's lying to himself. He clearly wants no parts of any fusion with any real enemy. There is a reason why Buu, although ultra confident, is gunning for Goku and Vegeta as soon as he senses them. There's a reason he attacks them on sight. It's too risky for him and he's not sitting there calculating power levels. Those kids were nothing but shrimps and they became a massive beast. Fusion is insane power.

You know what you are right. It's like he has the ultimate power now in absorbing Gohan and he's done playing. He wants to get rid of any potential enemies and enjoy his day.

Boo knows Goku has Super Saiyan 3, so it's a possibility.

Considering that Gotenks is essentially a Saiyan + Human, I don't see why not.

Goku at least only expected to lose power from fusing with Satan and not Ten, so I would say that they can probably transform. While I definitely believe base Vegetto dwarfs SSJ3 Goku, considering that Vegetto is only powerful because two master fighters fused, I doubt Goku would gain so much power from fusing with fodder like Tenshithands that he'd surpass his SSJ3 form in base afterward.
