Did Freeza abandon his 2nd and 3rd Form?

Did he just skip them in the new movie, or did he kill them off; since he doesn't need them anymore?

He said that he'd go straight to his "final form" this time, so he does have them - but thought he should take the fight a bit more seriously and thus didn't use them to fight. Its the same concept as Goku and Vegeta going SSJ2 at the start of their fight.
