Seems unlikely since he never mentioned one (then again, did he ever? Vegeta does but can't remember when Goku has. In the hospital after fighting Vegeta?), but his ki was really faint, right?

No. Saiyans don’t get zenkais after becoming Super Saiyans.

Goku does mention getting stronger post Ginyu, by the way.

In the manga, he says he trained his ass off every day.

In the anime, Saiyans get limit-breaking boosts. They’re sort of like zenkais, but more generic.

I don't think zenkais depend on whether you are Super Saiyan or not. Zenkais stop when you have brought out all your current potential.

Same, but that often coincides with unlocking SSJ since SSJ is basically a limit breaker.

Never suggested to be the case, specially when Goku acknowledges that if Vegeta couldn't beat the androids he couldn't beat them, either.
