Did Goten and Trunks master SSJ?

They don't seem to be having any strain when using the form, just like with Goku and Gohan in the Cell Games.

I think they mastered it. They don't seem to display any aggression in the form and usually tend to have round eyes and/or relaxed faces barring a few instances.

Much like so much else in the series, the importance of mastering SSJ just became lost. Like it only really mattered if they lost the restless feeling, or conserved energy only really mattered leading up to the cell fight.

Whether or not they mastered SSJ becomes irrelevant in the buu saga because of higher SSJ forms and fusion.

They mastered it after they transformed for the first time.

They definitely had it mastered. There's no reason against it beyond casual nerfing.

Technically, yes.

For some, it's a good enough knock against them. Anything they can get.

Way back at the very beginning of the series, Goku sees Master Roshi perform the Kamehameha once and figures it out; Krillin and Yamcha have similarly easy times mastering the technique, not to mention Tenshinhan, and within a few arcs, it's old news. And yet when it was introduced, it was an amazing technique that took many years and tons of skill to learn, only for Goku to show up and do it like it was nothing. So I think the same principal could be said how the kids can go ssj, much less mssj imo . Lol

Nobody in the series had a difficult time using the Super Saiyan transformation until a clear distinction was made during the Cell Games, for no other reason then to make Goku and Gohan appear much stronger then Vegeta and Trunks. at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter whether or not they did. After all, it's Gotenks whom matters, not the kids individually.
