Did Vegeta use the Garlic Gun against Beerus?

When I watched BoG, I thought that Vegeta used the Garlic Gun at the end of his Beerus fight. Mostly because it was purple, but I couldn't be sure.

Then in Super, the same thing happened again. The beam was still purple, but the pose was exactly the same as Garlic Gun Vegeta from the Saiyan Saga.

I'm just asking, because I think it's great if they did bring it back. Vegeta doesn't use his finishing moves enough, and the Garlic Gun is prob my favorite.

It was good to see. Vegeta runs through a new finishing move every arc it seems. The Fina Flash is the only one that has managed to stick around, canon material or otherwise.

I think the last time we saw the Garlic Gun was from Semi-Cell...
