Do you like low or high power levels?

For some reason, most of the time, I like them low, though I had never been able to figure out why. Until I read someone say he prefers them low because the sagas are more connected that way. And then I realized that's why I like them low too.

Are there any plausible ways in which we can make the power levels low? For example, we can treat kaioken as an additive boost, ignore some "less than half power", "power increased manyfold" statements as exaggerations etc.

If you want to deliberately scale them low you could treat them like the Richter scale where each higher number represents more than a linear increase.

Personally I like justified levels, and the minimalist and wanked scales are near equally unjustified.

I pretty much hate everything related to power bloating and try to keep numbers the most consistent as possible and try to not create big gaps. I just go by what the story suggest and analyze whether a case can make sense or not. For example: The 3m number of Base Goku or SSJ2 multiplier being 2x are too low and clearly doesn't work which are clearly depicted as minimalistic gaps, but I'll never agree with multifold gaps that people makes it out to be such as Gotenks or Gohan over Goku in the same saga.

It is a bloated series, but some people just like to put more zeroes to sound more impressive. If you start using scientific notation, then it's time to reevaluate the numbers.

Small numbers can look neat, but it also feels very dumb if people have shit like Super Vegeta = 500,000,000.

I'm more of a minimalist, but I definitely lean as much as I can to trying to find accurate, justified levels. But yeah, when they get too bloated, the series feels too spaced out.

Unfortunately for us, this is a super bloated series and forget about Super.

Why don't we ignore some statements that don't change the plot? For example, kaioken can be an addition of the same number every time.

I used to bloat it but now I don't think AT remembers shit so I stopped giving one.

Because it's not true. Goku uses KKx20 with Super Saiyan Blue at ToP, it doesn't matter how bloated that is, it is what it is.

SSJB Gogeta > SSJFP Broly >>> Base Gogeta > SSJ Broly

It doesn't matter how bloated that chain is, Broly's SSJFP is insanely powerful. We have to stick with the facts.

Base Gogeta wasn't above SSJ Broly, he went SSJ to fight Broly and they were evenly matched in power. IT's SSJB Gogeta that was stomping SSJFP Broly, who in turn was far stronger than SSJ Gogeta.

Don't mind either as long as there's something we can refer to from the story to reflect it.

Two people could agree about the tier that a character falls into, while having different PLs for them, or 1 of the 2 not feeling the need to represent things numerically.

When assigned PL values largely faded out, and a new powerful guy comes along, it's a straightforward question of: what can they do, or have done. Then just working off of that.

I love high power levels. Made me a master at high calculations.
