It would be really odd if he didn't. He was introduced as early as Loguetown and it was made pretty clear that he was a big deal, even then. He's been hyped up for nearly 1100 chapters now, and prior to Marineford it was made to sound like he was comparable to a Yonko. He will definitely play a large role some way or another.
