Do you think goku should've used taiyoken before using insta kmh?

Something which i never comprehended is why goku just flied and pretended he was about to destroy the earth (something which is absurd as he would die too and is conscient since namek saga) and then appeared in front of cell, who also has many time to put his arms as a defense but didn't do and then fired it

A better move would be if goku flied to the sky and then used taiyoken while appearing towards the blinded cell with a kamehameha being cell completely off guard

While being blinded he could not react, ki sensors like trunks, piccolo and krillin were blinded by this technique. Goku should've just fired a kamehameha like he did with frieza in kkx20
