Dodoria's/Zarbon's PL

Theory 1: They're 22k/23k because that's what guidebooks say and i won't give it any more thought because
i'm a guidebook wanker.

Theory 2: They're 22k/23k and suffered shuki/youki loss against Vegeta.

Theory 3: Their little chat indicates 22k/23k, but their performance shows otherwise. I think they have lost
power over the years by slacking off (Vegeta says something like that to Cui and Dodoria) and 22/23 were
their powers last time they measured themselves.

Theory 4: They never were 22/23.

I always went with both being 22K (Zarbon)/20K (Dodoria) respectively.

Remember how their fights went vs Vegeta? He fights dirty. He threw dirt into Zarbon's face and got Dodoria into a submission hold. I don't see a problem with 22/23k. They weren't beaten through sheer power, it was power and technique together that got them.

Didn't Zarbon just get his ass beat the first round, though? I don't recall any tactics being used there. Vegeta just looked faster and stronger.

Not that I have an issue with their levels.

He held his own better than Dodoria was able to, but it was still extremely one sided.

I go with 20k for Dodoria and 21k for Zarbon.

I go with theory 2. They shit their pants after knowing Vegeta's power level was 24k. Freeza also said they can take Vegeta if they team up but Zarbon and Dodoria weren't sure about it [if I remember correctly] since they lacked of shuki and yuuki.

I'd have to really push Zarbon at 22,000 alone. It would have to honestly a bit less. While he certainly held his own far better than Dodoria and didn't run away like a screaming pansy, he pretty much still got his face wrecked.

I can't say the same for Dodoria though. This guy was freaking out at the thought of facing Vegeta. He refused to believe Vegeta was as strong as he was and was left screaming for help before Vegeta casually killed him. Even Vegeta's statement regarding Dodoria is how pathetic he is.

Vegeta: “I killed Dodoria!! Dodoria, so proud of his tremendous strength!! And it was easy!! Heh… My new abilities surprise even me… The battle on Earth wasn’t a waste at all.â€￾

So yeah, the manga is pretty much saying Vegeta could beat Dodoria's massive ass.

Even if I take into account Dodoria's lack of confidence, I still wouldn't put him higher than 20,000.

I think 20/22K for them is fine. Vegeta never had to use tricks, special attacks or tactics for either them.

He just physically overpowered Dodoria and made him verbally submit than casually one shotted him.

He manhandled and was physically beating on Zarbon and didn't have to use tactics until his 2nd round with him.

I feel Dodoria is pushing it a bit but taking into consideration his complete lack of confidence I suppose its not that much of a problem.

But why 23,000 for Zarbon? That's only a 1.04x difference from Vegeta and unlike Dodoria, Zarbon wasn't freaking out and showing a huge lack of confidence when he fought Vegeta. Yet even then Vegeta was pretty much making a mockery out of the guy.

I always hated Powerlevels. They are way too inconsistent. But I think 21k Dodoria, 22-23k Zarbos sounds about right.

Around 19.5k-20,000 for Dodoria and 22,000 for Zarbon

Transformed Zarbon I'd put at 30,500 or so, and post zenkai Vegeta at 31.5k-32k. The only reason he won that so quick was because of a cheap shot.

How about the ''nearly 30k'' line about Vegeta? Did it come from AT or from some translator?

20k for Dodoria and 21k for Zarbon. Zarbon being frustrated could be part of the reason he couldn't land a single hit on Vegeta despite the small gap.

Zarbon only said Vegeta surpassed him when he was 24k... When he was read as 22k, he never said it so Zarbon is at least 22k

I have Dodoria at 21k and Zarbon on 22k... Dodoria should be closer to 24k Vegeta than he is to 18k based on Vegeta saying he beat Dodoria who was tough

But Vegeta also said about Dodoria having got rusty. So maybe Dodoria just used to be a lot stronger than
Pre Zenkai Vegeta.
