Does anyone here thinks that the Cell Arc is better than Freeza Arc?

Androids arc as a whole I like more than Freeza arc, so yes. It was more interesting and I like that pretty much everyone had a moment to shine, anime filler included.

Androids arc is my favorite arc, but Freeza is my most favorite character of the entire franchise. So Freeza arc is a very close 2nd to me.

Did 17 have a gun to your head while you wrote this?

Naw, but 18 did have her tits in my face!

I really like both, but nothing in the cell arc matches the desperation and hopelessness that the furiza arc gives us. Plus the whole legend of the SSJ plot, furiza's manner vs ruthlessness as a villain. It was just great.

The beam struggle against Cell was more exhilirating than Freeza getting cut by his Kienzans and blasted by Goku's blast though.

Freeza arc is much better imo. The Cell arc feels empty to me, and Goku dying at the end was just faggotry as you knew he wouldn't stay away.

The Cell arc is DBS tier garbage. They keep asspulling so they heroes can keep up with Cell, and old villains before Cell as well as Cell's lower forms kept getting replaced so AT can make a design that actually pleases his editor and even the one story impact it had is diminished by the next arc making death even more trivial than this arc. Just nothing but surface appeal and complete shit plotting.

The humans can't handle it also the only positive in that arc is Goku's dying moment and Gohan VS Cell KHH battle.

Not really but I'd surely tell that I like Cell a lot more than Freeza.

People that prefer the Cell arc over any of the earlier parts of the manga sans RRA are clowns that don't know the source material. The Cell arc is like watching disorderly videos of organized crime, nothing but idiotic writing and admittedly alright battles filling up a clusterfuck of other faults.

I just feel that the Cell/Android arc failed to live the momentum of Freeza arc. The next arc should be more about aliens or gods other than a ''creature from Earth'' since Freeza and Goku are the strongest in the ENTIRE universe lol. Only Majin Boo has that unique story that has a potentially greater than Freeza.

Yeah, a bunch of Earth-created robots threatening the heroes who're all Super Saiyans if they hope to be relevant at all is a lazy excuse for a premise compared to incurring the wrath of an elite Saiyan warrior as a low-born commoner or the emperor of the universe himself who held fates of planets in his hands. The moral of the earlier parts of the story is also kind of lost in the midst of all the random antagonists and Gohan being made to inherit the mantle because some guy he knew for an hour got his head crushed rather than Goku losing a dear friend to ascend like the last arc to erase the ultimate evil.

All that shit is very un-Dragonball like since it had no problems expanding the scale of conflicts before, and this conflict has little tension when confined to Earth with the heroes so much closer in power to Cell than they were to Nappa/Vegeta and Freeza and his men. Even Boo who started out as a jolly fat manchild has all the gods shitting their pants over him.

Boo turned out to be the best after he turned into Super Boo but fuck Gotenks for ruining Boo's character as a serious villain.

And now its hard to come up someone greater than Majin Boo who is the terror of the universe which gaves us Beerus who is logically stronger than Boo.

The Shadow Dragons were a proper 'level up' premise wise and Baby takes whatever he gets inside and makes it stronger.

But I do agree with the Buu premise truly being the only idea 'logically' stronger than Frieza.

Beerus just popping in outta no where and being tied to Freeza and King Vegeta and the Kaioshin knowing about him the whole time is stupid.

"Oh he was asleep for the last hundred years" or whatever it was, was AT's way of excusing him from not ever being mentioned in Z.

A concept taken from Buu mind you.
