Does anyone on the android saga other than piccolo knew how strong a healthy goku was?

The anime makes gohan get shocked at the idea of vegeta surpassing goku when it is said by piccolo, so despite of being with him 3 years he doesn't have a clue at how strong he was.

He already watched them fight. Piccolo was holding an advantage over suppressed 2nd form Freeza and was assured of victory upon taking off his weights. In this case, he's never seen Vegeta and Goku so much as spar in their SSJ states. We already know Gohan trained with SSJ Goku over the 3 year timeskip anyway, so he should be well aware of SSJ Goku's capabilities.

When 2nd form frieza went serious there was nothing weighted piccolo could do other than dodge one punch, gohan at this point has already seen ssj vegeta taking on android 19 and has already seen his final attack, but he couldn't notice vegeta was stronger than goku

Gohan had faith in Piccolo from the start. Knowing that Piccolo's strength and speed would increase after taking off his weights was enough assurance to him.

The gap between Vegeta and Goku just isn't very big here. Piccolo even said "It SEEMS like Vegeta has surpassed Goku" rather than being absolutely certain about it, so it stands to reason that an amateurish fighter like Gohan might have trouble telling the difference.

Piccolo also said it seems that it was supposed that all of them were killed in the story even though they were as stated by trunks. The statement goes on to show that piccolo was understanding why of vegeta's confidence into challenging the androids (because he is now a super saiyan and has surpassed goku), i agree that vegeta was marginally ahead of goku though
