Does Masenko have amp?

Gohan doesn't use the Masenko against 3rd Form Freeza and uses a regular blast.

Gohan was having trouble with the Saibaman's super-speed. Is it possible Gohan cannot amp his attacks at all and Masenko is just a beginner technique?

Gohan had trouble keeping up with the Saibaiman because he was relying on his eyes instead of feeling for Ki.

It doesn't seem like Gohan used the Masenkoh in the manga, but Piccolo seemed to use it against Freeza Form 4.

In the Moro arc, the blasts Gohan used against Freeza are apparently their own distinct moves, not literally regular Ki blasts. We see Seventhree use them after copying Gohan's abilities.
