Does SSJB2 exist?

I think Goku's given up on the SSJB stuff and is now focusing on Ultra Instinct. Vegeta? Who the fuck knows, but he's probably going to be focusing on Ultra Ego here on out. SSJB seems to be done and dusted as a concept, relegated to the weaker form status.

It also looked like that in dbs during the top. Probably was an animation error.

I think the production might have considered it at some point early in the animation stage of the episode but ended up giving up on it.
Interestingly, Goku shows this SSJB2 hair in the same episode he manages to not get glared away by Jiren without Kaio-Ken or UI.

We have to keep in mind with DBS, is that they literally have a stated plot point that fighters can grow massively powerful just from fighting. No training, no transformations, fighters grow far stronger while they fight now.

I'm not so sure about this. I believe its UI and UE that are going to be pushed away, or used sparingly, and SSJB is still going to be the main marketing image. It's the SSJ of Super, in that its what they want on all the McDonalds cups and posters. We'll see, but with Super Hero set to ignore Moro and Granolah, I think they still see SSJB as the money maker.

I don't think it will happen since they both have new transformations.
However, given that Goku explained SSB was a SSG becoming a SS, Vegeta and him should both be able to just use SSG and SS2 to become SSB2. They likely skipped this for the fact that Goku would still be ahead in power as Vegeta hasn't ever transformed into SS3. Meaning Goku would just be able to mix SSG and SS3 to be a SSB3 and Vegeta couldn't. It would have also been too predictable and a clear recolor of the same regular SS forms. I like that they are going their separate paths.

I like the theory that Goku got this SSJB2 at the beginning of Chapter 122 and Vegeta got SSJB2 at the end of that Chapter.
Anyway, I think this type of SSJB2 is more like a kind of "Enhanced" SSJB, that is, a PSSJB. Eliminating the Regular SSJB and replacing it with the Improved SSJB.

No it doesn't. I think the intention behind Super Saiyan Blue was that Goku and Vegeta had mastered Super Saiyan, making it inherently better than Super Saiyan 2 and 3. And by doing so, they managed to infuse it with their God-Powered Base to reach Blue. Obviously this changed because Saiyan Beyond God but I think the point still stands. Super Saiyan is the only form they had mastered which allowed them to combine it with God to obtain Blue. I don't think Super Saiyan Blue 2 is a thing or even possible for them.
The manga makes a clear point that Goku had reached a wall that couldn't be overcome through sheer power. The anime makes it a point that Goku pushed himself way beyond his limits to obtain Ultra Instinct Omen. Likewise, Vegeta pushed himself beyond his limits which led to an Evolved form of Blue. Besides, with Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego, it kind of renders the point of SSJB2 anyways.
