Does Whis like Vegeta better?

I get the feeling he does. There isn't a whole lot of concrete proof of it, but I see hints here and there. Vegeta was the one to come to Whis on his own for training, and he was able to achieve God power on his own. Also, a minor theme of FnF was keeping your guard up, not getting caught by surprise, and Goku failed that test. Vegeta even scolded him for it, saying he didn't listen to Whis.

After that, there were other times Vegeta went to train with Whis and Goku had to find out later and catch up with them.

Not to say Whis hates Goku, but I get the feeling he sees Vegeta as a slightly better student. On the other hand, Beerus has a bigger interest in Goku, it seems, so it all kind of evens out. But still, just some observations I made.

To be fair, Vegeta hangs a lot with Whis so there's that. Meanwhile Goku has a job on Earth which seals the deal.
