If you mean you literally don't know what you read: Kaiman bit the guy (Matsumura), got the answer "it's not you", so he killed the guy, but as the guy was chopped up he opened a door for Fujita (long nose guy) to escape back. Fujita goes to Matsumura's funeral and prays for him to be resurrected, then goes to meet En. Kaiman eats some food made by Nikaido. Nikaido's shoes seem to be New Balance, judging from the logo on the sole when she kicks Fujita.

Kaiman defo says in chapter 2 that he doesn't like his face.

Yeh might be to hide their personal identity for the magic users/makes them more recognisable at the same time, when they keep the mask on. There is another reason given too though.

Finished chapter 12 last night. So far it's been enjoyable. I'd like to learn more about Nikaido after learning she's a sorcerer.

Through 35 now and I'm starting to get into it more. Have a lot of questions still that I'm sure will be answered in time. Nikaido is currently being controlled by En and I think it will be BS if Caiman manages to rescue her. Let's see what happens.
