English Dub

Why does it seem so bad? I've watched some clips here and there and it sounds really bad by Funimation's standards. Maybe that is just me, though.

DBZ is worse with Freeza, Vegeta and Babidi at least.

Idk if it's so bad. I haven't seen how they do the more important moments (such as joining Nami's fight, pinching Arlong/Terrybatou/Thriller Bark ending (faaaaak. Imagine being Brook and seeing that)/Zoro badassery in every arc basically if not literally/Ace's more emotional lines (damn did I cry)/Luffy's sad parts (obviously the 2 things that made him take a timeskip 2 year break to train)/Dr Hiluluk's death (mang did I cry. For Nami in the Arlong arc too)/the serious stuff at Water 7 both Franky's background wise (might be my favourite....or Chopper's....Nami's is third I'd say) and CP9 wise....oh and Noah Going Merry....damn have they already forgotten about Merry wtf man he was ur fweeeennndddddaaaa. srsness bizi/other stuff with so many charas in different arcs). Usopp and Luffy sound goofy as fuck though....which I suppose suits them....but wrong kinda goofy....it's almost like Goku and Vegeta in the crappy movie dub in Luffy's case.
