I only watch the Japanese dub. How else do you explain Goku being even with Oob in base to being able to handle Baby Gohan and Goten with no sweat later on?

Unless you think Oob (BoGT) >> SSJ Baby Gohan

So Goku adds our favorite line before the fight:

"He's got an awesome power, huh!"

Trunks confirms this, although being stronger than Trunks is nothing to celebrate. Also, it takes both SSJ's to budge Loods foot. This is all prior to absorbing Pan.

Just stuff to think about.

Well SS Trunks is likely weaker than Base Goku, so I wouldn't doubt it if SS Goku alone could overwhelm Lood like that... Not saying that for certain, though.

I would say your right about Trunk's power, but we also don't see Goku overpower Lood like that again. The only time it happens, he has a second person there. So i'm inclined to say Trunks might have been more help than not, less Goku should have been able to do it again. Including all the times Lood swated at them.

Not to draw semantics on you, but I feel differently that Goku could do it alone. The only other time Lood goes down is when they do the double blast and Lood has propeller arms. The rest of the fight, they avoided him or threw punches that left only superficial damage.

What say you?

After meeting with several well known scientists, I have determined Full Power Lood is not more powerful than SSJ3 Goku.
