This is something that I flip back and forth on very often. Sometimes I can see EoZ Piccolo being FP Perfect Cell tier, and others I don't see him improving much, considering he had hit a wall.

He did. This was actually my first ever dbzf debate, in that tournament that never went anywhere. Pyrus I hope you voted for me out of principal!

But a lot of time passed between the Cell Games and EoZ. I have to give Piccolo some credit given a long enough timeline. And I don't think the gap between Cell Games Piccolo and Goku @Yakon is all that impossible over the course of ten years for him.

If I am being generous I often put him at Mr. Boo level.

I tend to not really think he surpassed SSJ Gohan's power over those 10 years. I'd wager he can still beat Goku at the Cell Games perhaps, but this Goku is stronger than Vegeta was at the time in every form. I can't see Pic exceeding him as I reckon he slowed down on his training after the RoSaT.

I think in Buu saga he's more than capable of defeating a cell junior so by the time eoz comes around which is ten years later I'd say he's at FP PC's level so no he cant beat his SSJ2 but he can beat his SSJ

I don't think Piccolo is that strong especially FnF showed that Piccolo was Babysitting Pan.

I'd be generous and peg Piccolo as at least being not too far below EoZ Base Goten/Trunks, who I'd place fairly high based on Goku implying they could surpass Boo if they were more diligent in training. I'd say Piccolo should win, though given how he's presented in FnF, I'm becoming a lot more doubtful on him being that high. Depending on how DBS presents him, he may very well have hit a permanent wall after the Cell Games.

I don't see any reason for him to be on Perfect Cell's level. I generally stick him around Cell Games Goku to give him some credit for 10 years, but considering how much I believe he gained in the 7 post-Cell...

Anyway, he'd maul Goku with ease. Even though I put him around 50% Goku at the Cell Games (usually somewhere around 35-40%), that's more than enough to beat this Goku.

I don't think Piccolo improved at all from Boo to EoZ, honestly. He seemed to have capped out during the last arc.

That being said, I believe Piccolo could potentially beat this Goku if the latter doesn't power up at any point.

I don't believe Goku was suppressed against Yakon. Either way, I'm most people have Piccolo way more than 4x Base Goku.

Am I mistaken? I had thought Piccolo hadn't bothered training at all after Cell (bar going into the World Tournament). If that's the case then Goku beats him. I doubt Goku was extremely suppressed against Yakon. Though with 10 years of training under his belt assuming he did, I'd put Piccolo around Perfect Cell tier. Without training, he's ASSJ Vegeta/Trunks tier in the cell saga

According to Toriyama in a Chozenshuu interview, he trains just like Goku and Vegeta. Whether this is to reach a new level like them or merely maintenance training is unknown though.
