Evil Piccolo Arc

When reading the manga, Piccolo was clearly displeased with his team position as "the fodder" and said mid-fight "I'm the reincarnation of Demon King Piccolo" or a line similar to that.

I can't help but feel that this is some sort of foreshadowing in which Piccolo turns heel.

Nah, he said it before he fights Frost IIRC.

I don't really think it's foreshadowing. Piccolo asked Goku similarly in the Cell-Saga whether he's of any help and Goku tells him no.

Poor Piccolo. I'm sure he'll receive another power up out of nowhere, after all he's Toriyama's favorite character.

Because there were lot of characters that Toriyama introduced which gaves the humans less spotlight. Beside, Tien is shit compare to main characters.

Piccolo's pride has been crushed constantly for a decade by the U6 Tournament. I think he's just trying to get some of it back, just like with 17.

With Toei's laziness, I can see them haxing Piccolo and somehow making him SSJB Kaioken tier - just so they can avoid having to think of a real plot with new characters.

^This goes in line to most of the plot in Super, so I won't be suprised if this is an upcoming plot arc. Lol
