Expected Recoome/Jeice/Burter

Vegeta (about Ginyu Forces): Each of them is as strong as me... no, each of them is stronger than me.

Obviously, he wasn't referring to Guldo, whom he disrespected, and Ginyu was on a different league compared to the others. Then, during his fight against Recoome, Vegeta was shocked he was that outmatched.

So, how strong did Vegeta originally expect Jeice, Recoome, and Burter to be?

Probably 35,000. You can see the fear in his face when he senses their arrival. Vegeta knew he had no chance against the group as a whole, he likely thought at best he could take one out at the cost of his own life. When he wasn't able to do more than superficial damage to Recoome it was shocking for him.

This is great. Understanding a fighters expectations can often times be the piece of evidence needed to fully understand the narrative. I always love to see these types of threads and yes I agree with Ssj2 that 35 is probably about right.

I was also thinking about 35,000 since Vegeta had stated that the Ginyus were equal to or superior to him.

Vegeta was hoping to draw against one of them, meaning that Monster Zarbon's gap over Vegeta (24,000) should be greater than Ginyus' average estimate gap over Vegeta (30,000).

I think the gap should be smaller, since Vegeta wasn't sure they were stronger than him individually.
