Context: Vegeta grabs Boo's pod and wonder what will happens if he pulls it out
Vegeta: "This'll be fun...Will you turn back into this fatso? Or will you become that scrawny guy? ...Either way, it seems that your power will doubtlessly fall below what is it now."

Vegeta: "The truth is that you were right [that I'd be killed by Boo]. That Boo is stronger than I imagined...And so are you, Kakarot..."

1. All Vegeta says here is Buu will become weaker. And he's right.

The whole point about this is that Vegeta thinks that Buu will no longer be a threat if he were to be that Buu, something which Kid Buu was.

Hmmm no, he never thought he could beat him on his own, he just says that he looks like a midget and that they'll end him this time (which is ambiguous as it could be due to the fact that Goku would defeat him). On top of that, Kid Buu was initially compared with Fat Buu, as was said by Goku that Vegeta would never get a turn as he would defeat him if he goes all out in SSJ3.

The whole point about this is that Vegeta thinks that Buu will no longer be a threat if he were to be that Buu, something which Kid Buu was.

Vegeta didn't even consider Super Buu to be a threat and wanted to get out before Goku told him they would be killed if they went out without fusing.

At a point in which he was being reckless, also, how do you know whether Vegeta didn't see him as a threat? Vegeta is always fighting someone no matter how strong is in relation to him.

Vegeta has already seen Evil Buu fighting Good Buu, yet he doesn't consider him as something impressive.
