Can we ignore the statement about Fat Buu sharing his power between himself and Grey Buu? I think him
faring the way he did against Kid Buu retcons that.

Vegeta said Buus hurt other Buus more than non-Buus, so Mr. Buu doesn't need to have a power level very close to Kid Buu to fare well against him.

I don't see why we should because it doesn't contradict anything. If you watch the fight then you'll see Good Boo always got a chance to take a hit to Pure Boo. Grey Boo on the other hand was not messing around and was planning to absorb him.

Do you think the Fat Buu that was spat out of Kid Buu was the same one as the one absorbed? Also, when
Grey Buu became Kid Buu, where did the essence he lost go?
