Favorite Gundam (and general Gundam talk)

My favorite Gundam has to be G Gundam, maybe it's nostalgia or something but I really enjoyed this series. What's your favorite Gundam series, and why is it G Gundam (lol jk it doesn't have t be G Gundam)?

I haven't gotten into Gundam for the same reason I'm not into American Comics... Too many alternate universes and shit.
