I think Future Trunks got a lot stronger too, since he also wanted to fight Goku Black. According to Vegeta, Future Trunks was no match for Goku Black, as the latter had also grown stronger.

In a confrontation that Future Trunks and Goku Black had, the latter transformed into SSJR, which suggests that Future Trunks SSJ2 "Improved" >= Goku Black Base.

Would he though? The writers stopped thinking in terms of power levels ages ago. Even in the Freeza Saga Freeza only said he wasn’t even using 50% instead of less than 10% or so.

Trunks is surprised that Goku Black got much stronger which makes me think Trunks didn't quite become as powerful as Goku Black did relative to their previous powers.

I fully believe that Goku and Vegeta got stronger on their second trip to the Future.

A tired Goku SSJG after a failed mafuba, he fought better against Future Zamasu, than when he fought against him as SSJB in the first trip to the future.

The question is, Goku and Vegeta (First Trip to the Future) were stronger than in the Start of Arc Zamasu?

What do you think @Papasmurf ?

That means that at the end of the Arc Zamasu, Goku was twice as powerful as Vegeta in equal forms and also had Goku had the PSSJB form.

So between the end of Arc Zamasu and Chapter 27 of the Manga, Goku just kept his power, while Vegeta trained and matched Goku's power, doubling his power in all his forms and also getting the PSSJB form.

I find it very interesting, what do you think?

I think Goku forced himself beyond his limits to use full power again at the cost of his stamina. He and Vegeta basically fought to their last breath.

I think Goku did, since he didn't seem to have the necessary physical conditioning to master Blue before defusing from Vegetto and then being healed. He probably broke a couple of his limits by spamming Blue against such a powerful foe, now that we know they can do that on the fly when cornered as with Bardock.

That might explain why he became so much stronger than Vegeta in equal ways.
