So this is the first time he's changed bodies and not hit full power?

Probably, yes. But I still think it's doubtful he'd think he could access Vegeta's full power and not Goku's. He knows both are Saiyajins, and based on the example above it's possible the Saiyajins do share some body's traits. So for him to be sure he'd defeat Kuririn and Gohan with Vegeta's body, I think he might have been considering the likelihood of not accessing Vegeta's body full extent as well. Plus, like I mentioned, switching bodies with Vegeta was something he just entertained when he felt the weight behind Vegeta's blows and not upon seeing how Vegeta swiftly defeated a ~40,000 BP guy, so if it were simply a matter of Vegeta being a guy he can access the full extent of his power -- unlike Goku -- then possessing his body would have to be something he'd have already considered as a possibility.

I think Ginyu wants to body swap with Vegeta simply because he is getting torn apart and obviously Vegeta is the strongest. I don't think the author is calculating what kind of percentage he will lose, I think Ginyu assumes he will be able to access Vegeta's full power and so on. But, I can't prove any of it...

Yeah, that's a tough subject. I just interpret the scene as Vegeta putting up power at least considerably above Goku's 90k there and therefore leading Ginyu to conclude that with Vegeta's body Kuririn and Gohan are his. If he could at least put up kind of a fight against Kuririn, possessing a body whose base power is significantly above Goku's regular power -- 90k -- might cement the idea on Ginyu's mind that with this body he has the fight won. Goku once he is back to his body agrees with Ginyu's assessment, so I don't think it was merely a desperate talk by Ginyu.

I actually liked VoR's explanation on Neo to this situation. Vegeta is probably still below Goku, but Ginyu can access Vegeta's full power because Vegeta is still quite a power junkie.

I think it might be more than a Saiyan thing. I think Goku is so in tune with his ki and a ki master and perhaps way beyond his natural power, that Ginyu can't access it. I just don't get the feeling he would access any less than Vegeta's full power there. It's no coincidence that Captain Ginyu has a body change ability and has the second strongest power in the universe. That doesn't happen unless he has been changing bodies for a long time. I think Ginyu usually gets the fighter's full power, he's an adept ki user himself, more so than even Vegeta at this point. Sure, Ginyu isn't sensing ki, but he's altering his battle power and so on...

I don't know. Just my feeling.

And yes, that is pretty much what I'm getting at. Vegeta is still pretty much your standard fighter. Goku is more in tune with his ki.

Yeah, I agree that he usually gets a body's full power and Super also does conform to this idea as in the FnF arc Ginyu could access Tagoma's full power. But I still wonder whether Ginyu thought that once possessing Vegeta's body he'd win due to being able to access Vegeta's full power or due to Vegeta showcasing power far superior to 90k (or 180k, depending on how you wish to take that out). Considering that switching body with Vegeta was something he just entertained when Vegeta stomped the hell outta him -- and not upon seeing Vegeta had the power to defeat Jheese -- isn't the latter the most likely option?

One issue that really got me to stick with the 75k number for better or worse is the gap between Gohan/Krillen and Vegeta. I feel like it's roughly the same in all three instances...

1) Vs Ginyu Force
2) Vs Goku Ginyu and Jeice
3) Vs Freeza

I think Vegeta is about double Gohan/Krillen in all three instances. Their power ups are all connected and plot based. Super plot based. Literally extended power ups on top of their regular power ups. Perhaps the most bullshit power ups in the series along with Piccolo's 6 day Kaio trip.

I just don't see this to be true.

Vegeta 150-250k
Gohan/Krillen ~ 23k+

Yeah, I used to roll with this kind of thought as well. It makes sense.

Freeza Saga is about to be complete! Just have to add a few characters and music. Maybe, just maybe, released tonight. And boy oh boy, it's going to be a work of art. I really outdid myself for the Emperor.

I'd pkck up on some few things, but it's just unsupported small details and nitipickings and I am pretty sad my voleyball team has lost and is about to be eliminated.

Gohan doesn't use Masenko against 3rd Form Freeza right? It's just a blast?
