D. Freeza was in alot of motherfucking pain, training would be at the back of his mind.

Freezer had never trained in his life. Not only that, but he had never used all of his strength ever before in his life. That meant that as a fighter his strength not only wasn't even what it should have been if he trained normally, but much, much lower than that.
So going from here it's only logical that he increased his strength like he did with only 4 months of training. In fact, Perfect Cell's zenkay power to SSJ2 already anticipated this.
