At what point did the characters start going faster than light speeds?

Didn't Jackie Chan and Krillin pulled a feat with punches and kicks in 1 or 0.1 sec? I'm pretty sure that they're FTL during Saiyan Arc or even Raditz himself.

It took SSJ Gotenks several seconds to reach Boo's house in the Boo Saga. If he was faster than light, he should've been able to cross that distance near instantaneously.

Their 0.1 second feat doesn't require anything beyond hypersonic speed. The FTL line in the Saiyan Arc was dub-exclusive. In the manga, Japanese anime and Kai dub, Piccolo just says Raditz has incredible speed.Dr. Fearless said:
Canonically, characters don't reach that level until Battle of Gods with Beerus' feat of traversing multiple Solar Systems in one of the first few episodes. As Ryan said, even if you believe combat speed >> flight speed, SSJ Gotenks needing a few seconds to reach Boo's house and needing a good deal of his fusion time to fly around the Earth a few times shows Boo Arc characters still aren't FTL, considering Piccolo even viewed such a showing of speed as being valuable in how Gotenks stacked up against Boo.
Anime-wise, the earliest characters to possibly be FTL would be SSJ Goku and 100% Freeza, since Kaio couldn't keep track of them despite being able to track FTL Saiyan Pods. However, this is most likely an outlier, since he was also able to track Goku and Cell during their fight.
The only point in the anime's pre-Super continuity wherein we see solid FTL feats is GT with SS4 Galu's Kamehameha reaching the sun in a few seconds.
