Why do you think everyone is English or watching in English? Not trying to come off rude. Most people probably think of their own dub. Sean Schemmel or Funimation aren't the international voice of DragonBall.

Japan is where the series is from. The home country. Trying to talk as if it is just a dub is quite disrespectful in my opinion.

Because English is the world's language. English speaking countries are more likely to have been exposed to Sean, and I doubt very few people (apart from niche anime fans and Japanese people) have been exposed to the original. I'm willing to bet most non-English viewers are more familiar with funi over the original too, which is why I think Sean is more synonymous with the character at large.

Normally, I wouldn't consider this a big issue since it's just bloopers that often come from voice acting and the kind of thing you may even get at a convention in the right context. What is despicable about it, however, is the hypocrisy of Funimation in the KickVic scandal. They fired a man and ruined his career over allegations without a shred of solid proof and the most he actually did being a joke with a jelly bean, yet making edgy jokes that some might find offensive is A OK?

Obviously, Funi won't live by their own standards, so the only VA probably at risk is Schemmel due to the "faggot" jokes definitely being something that could rile up the company's heavily liberal work force.
