Fusion Transformation Boosts

From what it looks like with the Base Gotenks situations, it seems like fusion transformations are a bit different than normal.

Base Gotenks should be decently above Majin Vegeta initially and above Super Saiyan Gotenks after training.

This clearly implies less of a boost than Super Saiyan generally gives.

This also occurs with Vegetto. His base power is on par with Buuhan, yet he still has to avoid Buuhans Ghost Kamikaze attack, is shown to be using effort at times and overall isn’t implied to be 50x stronger than Buuhan.

Gotenks doesn’t seem to even notice Super Saiyan 2.

I’d say fusion transformations seem to experience weaker than normal boosts.

I think that's definitely the case especially when you take a look at Broly . You have Base Gogeta surpassing Golden Frieza who is much stronger than the Blue Saiyans, Super Gogeta matching SSJ Broly who is stronger than Jiren, and Gogeta Blue who isn't too far ahead of FPSSJ Broly. SSJBE Vegeta (Moro) already surpassed Broly but at the same time, the Blue Saiyans were still weaker than Jiren.

You essentially have a situation where Gogeta Blue isn't too far away from SSJBE Vegeta and yet Super Gogeta is stronger than Blue Vegeta. Unless the Blue Evolved multiplier is insane, you'd have to cap the fusion boosts to some extent. That was always my impression when watching Broly anyways. Super Gogeta is on par with SSJ Broly and yet Base Gogeta can still dance around SSJ Broly's ki blasts.
