Future androids=Present androids

I will bring some arguments that androids are equal in strength:

1.Gingertown cell doesnt think he is match for the androids and needs to absorb more humans to defeat them.This only makes sense if Present=Future because if the present andoids>future androids that makes cell weaker than SSj goku and Vegeta .And vegeta strongly implies that cell is stronger than him.
2.According to cell,Piccolo can only put up a bit of a good fight against the androids, and since F.17 and 18 are comparable to goku and vegeta we know that piccolo would easily win, even if it is 2v1.
3.Future androids were only toying with trunks.Even though trunks can fight them both "fairly well" Future 18 thinks she can easily handle trunks.F.17 even calls him their "toy"which is further evidence that F. androids were only toying with trunks

I'm not even sure why this has become such a point of contention. The only character in the series that fights both thinks the present androids are stronger. Cell has to be referring to the present androids even if he shouldn't know they're stronger.

If goku and vegeta are comparable to the future androids as you say, then that in itself proves present > future does it not? As the present beat the bezeesus out of vegeta.

This is a common failing in AT's writing as characters know things only the writer or narrator should know.

i did not say that Goku and Vegeta are comparable to future androids,i only said that IF they are equal it will lead to many inconsistencies which i covered in my first post

The timeline that the Cell we know comes from is not the same timeline that the Trunks we know comes from, so there is no issue there.

I did not state that they are comparable to goku and vegeta,i only stated that IF they are equal it will not fit the story well and will cause inconsistencies which i covered in that first point.

All in all, even though there is no direct proof about Alternate Androids=Present Androids, all gaps implied
at the saga lean towards there. The only thing against, is a stupid statement; take it out and nothing
changes at the plot. I mean, i don't even know why AT put that statement; he was the one who had built
up so much about the Androids being horrible and then he nerfs them.

Alternate Gohan- 45
Mecha Trunks- 50
Yardrat Goku- 60

Goku wasn't implied to have much gains over the 3 years

The fact that Future Trunks was the one who killed Freeza on Cell's timeline, which implies the Androids on that timeline are stronger than normal too.
