Gap between CG Goku, Vegeta and Trunks

IMO Vegeta being = to Trunks in the Cell Games seems to be implied by the fact of Cell grouping them.

After feeling Goku's 50%, they still thought he was hiding something judging from his confidence, so I guess they expected what they felt to be a lot less than his full power. And yet Vegeta still thought he'd be the one to defeat Cell.
