Gap between Piccolo and Imperfect Cell

How large do you think it is? Piccolo seemed quite fatigued when he launched the Light Grenade, but would that have affected his power output? He was still fighting 17 equally when Cell arrived so I'd have to think he was still at full power.. Logically the Light Grenade should be stronger than the Makankosappo, so should Cell be 4-5x stronger than Piccolo based on this?

I don’t think the fatigue affected his full power any more than it affected Freeza from going 100%, for example.

I think it’s a normal 2x tank gap. Blast amplification is probably something more like addition than multiplication, there’s no way Piccolo would consider Cell more than doubling his power “weak”. Even accounting the multiplication, you can see Cell has his aura flared up when he rises. So he had to put his guard open to some level.

Why else would Piccolo say Cell’s Kamehameha was weak? Unless it actually had a PL of 8,000 it’s the only logical alternative.

The problems is Cell tanked Piccolo's already super amplified Ki blast

Cell dodged one of Piccolo's punches instead of tanking it so he couldn't be in tank range. Must be less than 1.4x gap.
