I just re read their first fight, and weighted Piccolo had a massive lead over Cell IMO. Cell looks like he is more durable than say Vegeta, perhaps explaining why he didn't take much damage from Piccolo's attacks? What is the gap?

Isn't he unable to land a single blow until he distracts Piccolo with his Saiyan arc :troll Kamehameha? A fair gap based on that, maybe similar to Dodoria vs. Vegeta?

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I mean he couldn't do as much damage as 18 was able to do against Vegeta, so I suppose that may out Cell slightly ahead of where I normally would have him; >~ Vegeta.

Yeah he's above Vegeta imo. Him acting like Trunks was still an opponent he could kill and Vegeta saying everybody was surpassing the Super Saiyan indicates Cell was among those surpassers. His ki is also likely not thaat far from Piccolo's since everyone calls the two of them huge ki's rather than saying a huge ki and a much huger ki.

Didn't Piccolo slap away Cell's Makankosappo in the anime? :eek:dawg

Putting that aside, I'd say 1.1 - 1.2x, maybe closer to 1.2, as Piccolo stated Cell would've been an easy victory.

In the TOEI universe, Kamehameha > Kienzan, because Gohan caught Cell's Kienzan while he had to push back his Kamehameha with his own. :troll

Well probably the most accurate chi sensor, 16, considers only piccolo to rival the androids in power. Piccolo also doesn't consider cell much of a threat, even after cell absorbs his arm.

So I'd put a considerable gap between piccolo/17/18 and cell, and then still a decent gap between cell and vegeta/goku/trunks.

There is a decent gap, just not enough for Cell to be utter fodder by comparison. SSJg3 Trunks would've surely won against the suppressed Cell (even Cell admits there's a gap) if not for his reduced speed, but they're both referred to as giant ki for instance. SSJg2 Vegeta's ki was immediately noticed by Kuririn to far surpass Semi-Cell's, but the difference was less pronounced here, obv

Piccolo (weighted) was about 1.15x stronger than Imperfect Cell IMO. Something like:

Vegeta SSJ : 340
Imperfect Cell : 390
weighted Kamiccolo : 450
Android #18 : 450
Android #17 : 500
Kamiccolo : 520
