Gap between Vegeta SSJG SS & Hit?

I'd say it was combination of his power and techniques. Base Goku looked a lot more impressive than Vegeta because he wasn't swinging like a moron. Skilled seems to play a big part in Vegeta's ass whooping.
Hit's going to fight seriously next episode, so we'll have a better understanding by then. For right now, I'd say Vegeta fighting like an idiot combined with Hits vital point strikes and power all gave him the advantage. With that, I can't really think of the difference.

For the last little while, Vegeta has seemingly been 1 step ahead of Goku, until now. Hopefully they do not immediately start shitting on him.
a) Vegeta achieved SSJG through training.
b) Vegeta saw through Golden Freeza's handicap long before Goku did.
c) Vegeta was able to break his own limits before undergoing training with Whiss, he grew so strong that he caught the attention of Whiss, whereas Goku was unable to grow any stronger since the Boo Saga.
I've respected his character more for some of the things that he has recently accomplished, but he got a major ass whooping this last round. And it seems that we have received another dosage of that Goku wank, that Toei is so fond of showing us.

Yeah, it's starting to look that way. Even Vegeta was looking salty when he saw Goku doing better against Hit.
I'm glad Vegeta at least won three fights in the row, but I hope they don't think that's a good enough reason to put him back on the sidelines in favor of Goku again.

As Evil Vegeta said, Base Goku fared a lot better than SSB Vegeta once he figured out the secret to Hit's time leap and even if his training's caused Goku to possibly decrease the difference between his Base and higher forms, Base Goku > SSB Vegeta is obviously impossible. The episode 39 preview also shows Hit being heavily damaged by punches from SSB Goku, so the difference between Hit and the Super Saiyan Blues obviously isn't that great, if at all. Aiming for the vital points was likely a major factor in Hit stomping Vegeta, which Whis even commented on.
