Goku was stronger against Blue than against Metallic to be fair. They should be close.

I'd disagree. There was no ki sensing at that point and Krillin was able to tell very quickly that Goku was stronger.

I like to think Blue ~ Jackie for Kuririn to be using him as a measure stick, but it’s a bit too tight. So Goku can casually stomp Roshi at this point?

They haven’t learned how to read movement yet, have they?

I don't think he can casually stomp Roshi. I don't think there's a need for Blue to be on Roshi's level.

Blue can be on Namu's level. So since Goku had a hard time against Namu, Kuririn can tell Goku improved. Roshi praised Namu and then praised Blue. I think that can work.
