Gogeta or Vegetto

Who do you prefer?

Honestly I grew up with a lot more Gogeta in my life. M12, GT and Video Games, Gogeta was a character I was way more exposed to, so he's the one I always had a preference to. Vegetto just popped up once in the Boo Saga and that's all I got from him. He's never even finished a fight! Unlike Gogeta who used the GOAT Stardust breaker to turn Janemba into a rainbow.

I always preferred Gogeta. His no nonsense approach quickly made him the more impressive Fusion in my eyes.

Vegito was pretty dope, too. Base Vegito in particular with his Final KMHMH.

Gogeta made more of an impact on me. He was DBZ at its core, serious, no-nonsense, quick to the point, badass.

Vegetto was most of what I didn't care for. Silly, cocky, like a Gotenks 2.0 in adult form. It wasn't until Super, surprisingly, that I actually started to like him.

But yeah, Gogeta for sure.

I would've pick Gogeta had Vegito didn't appear in the Super. But Vegito's appearance in Super made it easy for me to pick as he appeared twice in the series and he was handled very well.

I think a lot of you guys knows that I'm a biggest Gogeta's fan but the way he was handled in GT was terrible as you can see the fight as carbon copy of Vegito/Boo.

I guess I'm the only one that likes Vegetto more, but Gogeta's appearance at the end of DragonBall GT makes him really high too in my opinion.

To me (especially when I was younger) I saw Vegetto as like the God of Dragon Ball. The ultimate combination of the world's two greatest fighters. I like his design too.

He looks like a proper Goku/Vegeta fusion, unlike Gogeta, who just looks like a generic Super Saiyan with the fusion attire. Really, Gogeta's design could work for any two Saiyans that fuse. An adult Gotenks would look identical, but there is no mistaking Vegetto. The inverted gi, Vegeta's boots and gloves etc. It's a good design.

I really, truly like Gogeta. He just can't match Vegetto imo.

Gogeta might be badass, but Vegetto is no slouch either. I mean, the guy made the strongest villain in the original manga look like a total pansy, countering all of his techniques, beating him up even as a candy, and showed him he could kill him in a single ki blast, all so to piss him off in an effort to save his family without having to kill them. In my humble opinion, you can't get much more badass than that.

In addition to that:

* He's funnier. No explanation needed.

* His design truly look like a fusion between Goku and Vegeta. Gogeta almost looks like an adult Gotenks, making him pretty generic in comparison.

* He appeared for more than two minutes in his best appearance.

* He actually considers himself as the living symbol of the union of the two rivals.

Yeah, to me, it's not even a contest.

I like Gogeta more because he could be serious and funny when the situation call for it. Like with Trunks. Serious when he immediately kill Janemba and try to kill Xing Long after he trick him into using his negative energy ball so he could turn it into positive energy in order to restore the earth back to normal. Funny when he uses confetti and among other things to try to piss Xing Long enough to uses his negative energy ball for... well you know the rest.

One of my question about the series but Toei just had to copy Vegito/Boo fight and make an excuse to justify Gogeta's cockiness. :toei
