I like Gogeta more because he could be serious and funny when the situation call for it. Like with Trunks. Serious when he immediately kill Janemba and try to kill Xing Long after he trick him into using his negative energy ball so he could turn it into positive energy in order to restore the earth back to normal.

Wouldn't it turn back to normal anyways if he just killed him ?

I don't think so? I mean it wasn't like with Dabura's spit. Dabura used it, Shin explain killing him will turn back the people who were turns to stone back to normal.

Also, I don't remember any of the heroes, not even the Kaioshins saying they've to kill Xing Long in order to get rid of the negative energy on earth.

I mean, getting rid of the negative energy on Earth was the whole purpose of hunting down and killing each of them in the first place .

Besides, it was all gone after Goku killed Omega Shenron.
