It is hard to be neutral/objective when it comes to Gogeta or hard to be logical & not letting favoritism take precedence when it comes to overrating Buu or Vegetto? Probably both?

If anything, the massive wank to the kids and the downplaying of Gogeta is dismantled by the Anime itself showing how Goten is send flying/unable to keep up with a rusty Gohan and much more with how Gohan proving to be far stronger than Goten & Trunks against Broly in M10 (not refering to the Base Gohan scene, though).

I don’t think Base Gogeta needs to be all that much stronger than Goku.

I think Base Vegetto and Base Gogeta are probably only a little stronger than Goku.
