Concerning the huge gap Gohan had over Goku, I doubt even 7 years later that it would close it. Gohan may have trouble because of his lack of skill but his overall superior stature would just be too much for Goku.

Gohan takes this. They mention he lost power, but not that he slipped below anyone from the Cell Games, besides himself of course. I know Gohan is a wuss, but I like to keep his MSSJ form in good standings.
