1. Gohan who went from just around SSjin2 tier from Boo arc era to almost equal to SSjinB tiers from ToP arc in just a day.

2. Freeza who went from 120M to surpass SSjinB Goku and Vegeta after he trained for 4 months.

I would have add Broly but we know that he'll demolish these two when it comes overpowered characters.

So which one who had a ridiculous asspull powered up?

Vegeta at least stated Gohan had the highest potential, so if you just assume he managed to tap into potential that was retconned in not unlocked by old Kaioshin, it's somewhat explainable. Was even more criminal in the manga because he managed to get up to MSSJB tier just by fighting Kefla and some fodders for 3 minutes though.

Gohan. Freeza at least had the excuse of having at least a 120 mil peak from having never trained at all beyond an implied spar with his father. Gohan surpassed the level of Freeza's first GAINZ and reached his new level through training little different to what he always had, and manga-wise was making huge gains from just being in the ToP. Where was that catch up ability when he fought Gotenks Boo?

Not in the middle of the tournament. When Piccolo trained him for a day before the tournament. I consider the whole thing as a ToP arc from the moment they announced the tournament.

Gohan's sounds more retarded given how he had a limit established in Z but went there and became Blue tier anyway. Plus Freeza being the strongest in the universe by a landside without ever training says a lot about him.
