GOHAN REVAMP!?.........YAY!

Gohan is revamped.
To be honest i HATE GOHAN!
I think he is completely undeserving of the power he has & the credit he gets & as a character he is unappealing.

However Episode 124 I HATE GOHAN 10% less.

It's not necessarily what happened but the characteristics of Gohan changed in a major way. To me at least.
Episode 124 Gohan to me seemed more so like a true Fighter then any other time previously portrayed throughout the entire series itself.

Gohan was intense, independent, skillful, he in this episode became interesting as a character.
If Gohan started as being written this way i'd actually like him as a character.

This is the character revamping i think he has needed since the Saiyan Saga.
Now all we need is a revamping for Yamcha.

I don't like Gohan in the anime. He acts like a complete pussy bitch most of the time, and it bothers me. Maybe that's due to disliking Nozawa's voice, but idk. Not a fan of him in Super despite him being more tolerable during the ToP.

Agreed.

This arc overall i agree but this episode as i said I HATE GOHAN, i simply HATE GOHAN as a character.
But this episode was as if someone wrote not knowing who he was as a character.

Gohan episode 124 had almost a noble characteristic to him.
He wasn't a sniveling little brat or an arrogant A-Hole, or even an awkward dork.
Gohan seemed aware of his place & what needed to be done.

He came across to me as a character that's humble instead of how he was portrayed in DragonBallZ.
In DragonBallZ from TeenGohan to UltimateGohan to me the character seemed too full of himself.
Like he reached those levels on his own under his own determination & will.
In those moments he was the absolute embodiment of prideful & wasn't believable as Goku's son & it wasn't believable him having any real potential or being skilled as a fighter.

And I enjoyed each time he failed, each time he'd get beaten because i don't like him for all those reasons.
Episode 124 was a very welcome change & i really hope it continues.

If Gohan doesn't continue like he was from episode 124 then i hope he does get destroyed, & i hope it's permanent.

Honestly i don't see how he has a fanbase from the DragonBall Z era at all other than being done out of spite.
Just like aquaman, when people express dislike towards aquaman then an entire flock of people get defensive & comes to the rescue.
