That's not the point im getting across here. He's not necessarily stating what he can do. He is obviously stating the limitations of his power he will use for that certain fight. For which case he is limited to below full power not below kaioken.

Whats silly is making that assumption with no evidence of a re occuring power up unless you think he stayed at 5,000 with vegeta until he used kaioken. Which is silly especially after having witnessed a slice of vegeta's power prior.

Its clear his intention isnt "Oh i can do this and this and this"

Which would be wierd judging by the cliche for him to skip fp and mention kaioken instead.

When frieza claimed his power level was 530,000 against nail. He didn't go ahead and say but i wont even transform on you. He said he wouldnt use his fp

Which is my interpretation of this line. It doesn't make sense for goku to leave out his full power from that statement even though he is also holding back from it as well

Goku wasn't worrying, he was just saying he wouldn't use the Kaio-Ken. At this point, he doesn't know whether Vegeta is stronger than Nappa. So your argument doesn't hold any weight.

Goku's full power is fighting at 8,000. But that's not what the larger context and artwork display. Even the anime caught onto this and for some reason, you can't?

Goku was worried that it would take forever to beat Nappa. He even risked serious injury against Nappa's blast. Why would he put himself in a position where he's struggling if he can just power up and one shot Nappa?

And "Why didn't he use the Kaioken?" doesn't work because unlike using his full power, Kaioken has a huge risk involved. It was supposed to be a "Only use it when you absolutely need to" kind of thing.

Goku called Nappa durable because he survived their beam struggle without a scratch. He didn't know that was Nappa's best attack and determined it would take forever based on what Nappa just displayed.

Vegeta knew that was Nappa's best attack and calls him down immediately.

Nappa was finished after that.

Toriyama said Saiyans rapidly increase in strength as they fight against strong opponents. Goku said the match would take forever because he's durable as fuck, so clearly this is applicable here.

Don't even get me started on the gaps nonsense. Vegeta has taken some pretty fucking serious beatings before and survived. Gaps are inconsistent and bullshit.

Oh, and Nappa tried that and lost. Vegeta was wrong.
