Goku stated he didn't have time to reach his ship, which was why he tried to take Freeza's. So, if Goku had carried him instead of giving him energy, he would have taken him to Yardrat. What happens there? Does Freeza go on a rampage as soon as he's healed?
I see no reason why that would occur. Goku would still have enough time to get to Freeza's spaceship as in the original timeline and would have Freeza tell him how to pilot it, thus making the trip to Yardrat never happen.
For the sake of the scenario though, let's say it does occur. I can't see any way in which Freeza would be able to do anything, or even survive for much longer. Being able to stop a fatal injury through Ki donation made no sense in general when if it was permanent, it would make Senzu redundant. Freeza being an alien doesn't excuse it either when Goku had no knowledge of his anatomy and therefore no surefire reason to assume he'd survive for long. Freeza would likely succumb to his injuries in time or would be placed in a mutilated state where he'd have no chance of becoming stronger.
Let's assume Goku brings him back to Earth. Though the Briefs are geniuses, their expertise in cybernetics is probably nowhere near as great as Gero's and lacks the resources of Cold, so Freeza would most likely be limited to his current low level of power and simply be able to walk with his mechanical limbs. He'd remain a support character until Trunks and Kuririn visit Gero's lab, at which point Freeza would join them to find any information on reconstructing himself in a way to allow him to fight at his peak. He'd likely find something and be reconstructed, still putting up an act of reformation due to realising he couldn't do anything right now.
However, once given the chance to train in the Rosat, things would change drastically. Whilst likely not getting as strong as his organic self from the 4 months training, I don't believe his gains would be entirely limited when he still has half an organic body. He'd still reach the point at which he could solo the entire cast, including Cell, and does so as payback for humiliating him for 4 years. He then continues to conquer the universe until Beerus eventually wakes up.
