Goku + Piccolo vs. Vegeta

[Six Trails]

All from the Android arc. This is similar to my Trunks + Piccolo vs. Vegeta thread, but since many agreed that that team would lose, I replaced Trunks with the stronger Goku.

Does Vegeta have a chance? Or does he get overwhelmed?

Vegeta is overwhelmed very quickly. Him and Goku are basically the same person, as Piccolo had trouble distinguishing who was stronger. Adding Piccolo makes it overkill.

Pretty much what Smoker said. The gap between the two is so marginal from what's implied that even Gohan being added to the mix may as well be enough to shift the scales, nevermind Piccolo.

Vegeta wasn't far ahead of Goku at the Android Saga and Piccolo was still a force to be reckoned with so Team Goku + Piccolo wins rather easily.

Piccolo gets a chi blast up the ass to take him out, then Goku and Vegeta engage in a death brawl until Vegeta squeaks one out.

Everyone seems to agree that Vegeta lose here.

In my opinion Goku and Piccolo would win. Goku has almost the same strength that Vegeta, I would say that if Vegeta is 100, Goku should be 96. Piccolo, while considerably weaker than Vegeta, would not be one-shotted in my opinion. Along with Piccolo I bet Goku would defeat Vegeta without much problems.

I don't think Trunks and Piccolo could easily take out Vegeta. Mike made this fight for a while here, and most pointed Vegeta as the winner.

That's because those people had no idea what they were talking about. Dodoria and Zarbon can easily defeat Vegeta. If those two can beat Vegeta, I'm sure Trunks and Piccolo can. Honestly, they are probably at similar gaps to Vegeta as they are if you think about it.

Freeza- And surely 24,000 is not beyond your impressive powers...If you fight together. Heh.

Well I guess easily wouldn't be the best word. But they would "definitely" win. Freeza is ultra confident in his implication here.

Which makes sense, unless you are seriously more powerful than your opponent, it's not going to be easy. Just imagine if 2 Vegetas would take on Reecome. Now that would be an interesting battle imo.

Vegeta 100
Goku 95
Trunks 88
Piccolo 75

Goku and Piccolo could take out Vegeta ? Yes, Goku is almost there with Vegeta and Piccolo would not be one-shotted. But Trunks and Piccolo could take out Vegeta ? This is a tough question... The gap between Vegeta and Trunks pratically the same as Vegeta ( Saiyan Saga ) and Goku Kkx2 and the between Vegeta and Piccolo is the same as Vegeta vs Recoome.

Trunks looks kind of low there. You don't even have him rivaling Vegeta, yet Trunks is grouped in with the Super Saiyans.

For me the " rivals range " starts at 88%... Vegeta and Trunks are distant rivals for me. It's ~ the same gap Cell (vs goku) vs Goku, so seems pretty fair.

I could have something like this though :

Vegeta 100
Goku 96
Trunks 90
Piccolo 80

I prefer the former though.

88 should be rivaling 100. At least close enough to be at the edge of distant rivals. Zarbon vs Vegeta, Goku vs Cell and so on.

Vegeta isn't that far ahead of Goku. Having Piccolo their insures their victory.
