Goku/Vegeta were the first pair to enter ROSAT? (Cell Saga)

They'd have progressed faster (in canon, Goku said Gohan will slow down his
progress for a while). Of course, they'd have both trained in the right way
(mastering SSJ). Do you think they end up stronger than MSSJ Canon Goku?
Or (considering Goku said in canon that was his limit), they'd be as strong
as MSSJ Canon Goku, only they'd have exited the room sooner?
Does either of them discover SSJ2? I don't think so, since, at this point,
SSJ2 is a form exclusive to Gohan, it is only after Buu Saga retcon that it
could be achieved by anyone.
What happens after they exit? Vegeta wants to let Cell reach his perfect
form. Goku, most likely, doesn't. Does that mean that the two Saiyans
end up fighting each other? That would give Cell time to absorb the Androids.
Assuming Cell becomes perfect anyway and neither Goku nor Vegeta have
discovered SSJ2, what happens? How is the pair Gohan/Trunks doing in the
room in the meantime? I think Trunks can master SSJ, but not fully. Does
Gohan end up weaker than his canon self without Goku's guidance? Does he
never unlock SSJ2? If Gohan does not discover SSJ2, do you think that everybody
ganging up on Cell could give them a chance?
If Gohan unlocks SSJ2, how does Trunks behave after exiting the room? Does
he hide it from everyone, like Goku did in canon? Does he tell Gohan to go
and destroy Cell right away?
Anyway, if they make it to Buu Saga, i don't think Buu is released.
If you want to treat Super as canon, Beerus most likely never comes at
Earth, since the fish has anticipated Buu's absence, so it never makes
the SSJ God prediction. If he comes at Earth, he leaves without being upset.
Having faced him at King Kai's planet, Goku tries to discover SSJ God secret
anyway, asks the dragon and performs the ritual.
The rest DBS sagas we've seen up to now happen with no major changes.

Goku will probably get weaker than his CG counterpart because of Vegeta. Vegeta wants nothing to do with Goku and with no training partner, Goku wouldn't gain that much power.
