This is basically a place where we can talk about the newest animated adaption of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Would this also count as completing CC's challenge? I dunno, hope it does.

Anyway the first episode was great. Plenty of memes too.

Changed the title so I'm not reminded of that terrible Legend of the Galactic Heroes prequel.

The first episode was OK. I was disappointed that the photo of DIO from Stardust Crusaders was used since it begs the question as to how Giorno got the photo Joseph took, but it's not a major change. Other than that it was a great introduction to Giorno's character (shame he practically becomes a background character later on until the Purple Haze and King Crimson fights) that has an art style far better than the manga, though I expected a bit more creepiness from the "That's the taste of a liar" scene.

To be fair, that was a plot hole from the manga.

The photo used in the manga was significantly different in it's pose, so you could assume it was one taken by Giorno's mother or even someone like Enya. With the anime's change, there's no real room for assumption to plug the plot hole.

Maybe Joseph got in contact with Giorno before Qtaro and Koichi because he mistook Giorno for another bastard child of his.

When alphas run the gene pool, anime teens are going to inherit those HnK genes.

General reminder that Kenshiro was likely no older than 20 in Part 1 based on him being implied to be around 25 in Part 2 and Rikiishi was still a teen at the start of AnJ due to being in juvie.

Pretty good opening, though doesn't have the same sense of individuality or style most of the others did. Probably still better than Chase though.

The ending was an unexpected choice. Waiting till an episode ends with a character death to be followed up by "Every time I close my eyes, wake up feeling so horny".

Hoping blue isn't going to be the standard colouration of Black Sabbath's hat and robes. Guess we'll know the next episode...and know more about that than we'll ever know how it's abilities allowed Polpo to regrow his fingers.

Polpo's death did do a good job at setting up Giorno as essentially being the balance between Jonathan and Dio.

....too bad he kind of gets shafted throughout most of Vento Aureo starting pretty soon.
