I'd say Base Goten vs Freeza would be a better battle, but even that's a wash. Base Goten is about on par with Android 18, who should be able to handle Freeza without exerting hardly any effort at all.

Nah, that's absurd. Vegeta also was full of shit when he said that he could manage 300G as even on Super is tough for him a 150G.

Base kid Trunks (disguised as Mighty Mask) could trade blows with 18 and 18 broke Trunks' sword, Goten is not that far behind. That's enough to conclude that Goten destroys Freeza =D
